How Do We Help Children To Self-Soothe?  This is a very important life skill and one of the 7 attributes of emotional intelligence.  We live in a very chaotic world where we and our children are exposed every day to outrageous acts of meanness and lack of compassion.  This causes anxiety and creates a fear based reality for all of us.  If we teach our children the skill of mindfulness and the ability to self-soothe, we can reduce the ever-growing need for medication, comfort food, additive routines, and technology escape routes.

What can you do to help your children survive this chaos and maintain a feeling of emotional well-being and feeling internally safe?  It is really quite simple.
