Educators
I have been implementing the voices of CJ program in my pre-k class for the past year. I believe it has positively impacted the way the children respond to their own confidence as well as how they treat their classmates in such a kind matter. It brings such a sense of love and compassion into the classroom. The children adore each of the seven voices of CJ and every EQ voice brings such a great message to them. I personally love bringing this program into my daily curriculum.
From the very first day that her lively and engaging characters were introduced we could see the children fully embracing the values of friendship and relationship. The program is colorful, lively and fun. We have been pleased with the awesome results and feedback we have received from both our teachers and the parents. Thank you, Ms. Karen!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Emotional Intelligence/Social and Emotional Learning?
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a direct result of learning the skills that promote managing one’s own emotional well-being. Dan Goleman formulated seven attributes that enhance the emotional brain. These skills are best taught between the ages of birth and six when the emotional brain is growing the fastest. These skills are not innate and must be taught. With these skills, children learn to monitor their feelings/emotions, relate will to others, are accountable for their actions, learn how to delay gratification, and choose positive thinking that builds self-confidence. It is 80% the reason we are successful in life.
How does it work?
We have two brains, a cognitive brain and an emotional brain. The cognitive brain is for storing information. The emotional brain decides what we do with this information. Positive or negative memories are stored in the emotional
centers of our brain. These emotional centers grow significantly during the early childhood years and require positive stimulation.
Does it really affect us?
Working as a family or in the classroom with different personalities is significantly easier when we have an understanding and all speak the language used to manage one’s own emotional well-being. Becoming an emotionally intelligent family or classroom secures an emotionally safe environment that promotes growth and learning.
What can we do to become a CJ (Creator of Joy®)?
Becoming a CJ is easy and fun. Follow the parent and teacher guides along with the support of the interactive website and the YouTube Channel. Practice these skills each day. In 7 weeks’ time you will experience a true difference in your homes and classrooms. Use the “Voices of CJ” chart for the reminders of what CJs say and do.
